We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Manufacturing training Coordinator to lead the development of our training programs by designing, developing, and executing manufacturing process training for all manufacturing personnel. Additionally, you will work along our Learning and Development (L&D) teams to serve as a subject matter expert, developing and delivering effective training, cross-training or re-training for new and existing employees as needed for Red Cell Processing, Monoclonal Production, Controlled Components, Solid Phase, and Vialing , labeling and Packaging.If you’ve got the necessary skills and experience to excel in this position, we want to hear from you. Manufacturing Training Coordinator/ (Learning and Development Management


As a Manufacturing Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and evaluating instructional programs and projects in support of our overall learning strategy. This will involve effectively structuring training curriculum to support corporate expectations while maintaining compliance with GMP, Quality and Regulatory guidelines for the medical device industry. Furthermore, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring a competency assessment program to ensure employees maintain required competency levels.

Additional duties for this training development position include:

  • Working along L&D to develop effective training for manufacturing processes and updating training as procedures are modified

  • Performing on-the-job training to include explaining scientific rational for key manufacturing steps to new and/or current employees

  • Assessing and documenting initial and 6-month competency for new manufacturing and quality employees

  • Documenting all training events and submitting required documentation to L&D

  • Developing department trainers to supplement training resources and expertise

  • Ensuring all controlled document training is complete in the LMS prior to conducting on-the-job training

  • Assessing competency of incumbent employees in Manufacturing and Quality on an annual basis

  • Documenting all competency assessments and submitting training records to L&D

  • Assisting Manufacturing Management and L&D during the revision of controlled documents to determine that the appropriate staff training is developed, revised, and delivered

  • Understanding products and their intended use/application in order to effectively tie product performance to manufacturing process

  • Understanding FDA and ISO standards and the consequences of nonconformance

  • Meeting achievement levels established for competency evaluations

  • Understanding source, composition and characteristics of products and associated chemical and biosafety hazards

  • Interacting cooperatively with coworkers, supervisors and managers of other departments and receiving direction well from superiors

Manufacturing Training Coordinator/ (Learning and Development Management


We are looking for a Manufacturing Training Coordinator who combines a solid training and organizational development background with an engaging personality to make sound strategic training recommendations. You should also be highly organized and detail-oriented with solid analytical and prioritization skills to coordinate multiple projects within a fast-paced environment. It is also important that you display excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the ability to effectively build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Specific requirements for this trainer position include:

  • Bachelor degree in Science, Education or related field

  • Medical Technologist certification

  • 2 – 4 years Transfusion Service experience, preferred

  • Previous experience as a trainer

  • Trainer certification, a plus

  • Experience in Manufacturing and/or Quality in an FDA regulated industry

  • Strong presentation and persuasion skills

  • Ability to provide performance coaching and consulting
