We are seeking capable and reliable Production Technologists to join our Monoclonal team. In this position, you will perform basic maintenance on cell culture bioreactor systems. This will involve working with peristaltic pumps and implementing process changes as needed to maximize efficiency and productivity. Monoclonal Production Technologist – Laboratory Technician (Medical Technology)

Responsibilities

As a Monoclonal Production Technologist, you will play a key role in the on-going planned maintenance of Hybridoma cell cultures in accordance to established procedures. You will also coordinate subsequent testing and processing of culture supernates to intermediate material for further manufacturing use.

Additional responsibilities of the Monoclonal Production Technologist role include:

  • Maintaining cell cultures in bioreactors and flask vectors

  • Testing and processing culture supernate and intermediate material

  • Performing maintenance of equipment and laboratory facilities

  • Manufacturing solutions used in production and processing of raw materials

  • Performing computer entry procedures

  • Writing and/or reviewing standard operating procedures for accuracy

  • Ordering and maintaining inventory of supplies stocked in department

  • Wearing complete gowning 50% of workday

  • Coordinating and performing trainings

Monoclonal Production Technologist – Laboratory Technician (Medical Technology)

Qualifications

We are looking for a results-oriented Monoclonal Production Technologist who combines industry experience with a demonstrated and reliable work ethic to deliver quality service. You must also be highly organized and detail-oriented with strong time management skills and the ability to multi-task, establish priorities, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively present information and respond to all levels of the organization.

Additional qualifications for this Medical Technology role include:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate in Biology, Microbiology, Cell Biology or Chemistry

  • Minimum 1 year of related experience,

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Physical dexterity to move 10 – 200L containers of cell culture medium

  • Schedule flexibility to work weekends and/or holidays as needed to meet production demands
