We are looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for the overall upkeep and appearance of the Facility and Equipment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and preventive maintenance to the facility in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures.

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Operations/ Manufacturing/ Healthcare)


As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting systems in the manufacturing areas and any associated equipment for issues as well as making recommendations for improvement.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Working with contractors involved with repairs or projects to ensure they are meeting Immucor’s expectations with regard to quality of workmanship, safety, along with ensuring compliance to Immucor’s Contractor Safety Policy

  • Performing preventive maintenance and repair of equipment and any associated system in a timely manner

  • Completing daily work assignments from your Supervisor

  • Ensuring any HVAC equipment along with all associated systems is maintained according to established SOPs/ Task List to maintain equipment reliability and uptime

  • Ensuring that the preventative maintenance program is performed in accordance with procedures, schedules and compliance regulations

  • Communicating with department managers, supervisors and operators with regards to facility maintenance actions

  • Coordinating any outsource activity (HEPA Filter Certification, Airflow Balance, Smoke Test) with the applicable contractors

  • Ensuring compliance of FDA, ISO, OSHA, and GMP regulations and standards in regards to maintenance actions

  • Being responsible for assisting in accuracy of spare parts inventory for equipment in the manufacturing area

Facilities Maintenance Technician (Operations/ Manufacturing/ Healthcare)


Our ideal candidate will bedetail-oriented and organized, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced results-oriented environment. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to effectively build relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Additional qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate's degree in related field, preferred

  • HVAC Certification preferred

  • Electrical Certification preferred

  • Proven experience in the maintenance and repair of “like equipment" which includes of Air Compressors, Back-Up Generators, HVAC and Refrigeration Equipment, and DI water systems is a plus

  • HVAC experience is preferred
